Are We Doing Enough?

I have to ask, are you doing enough to help support the men and women of our armed forces? I live in a small community (that is growing) that has a military base in it and one up the highway from it and I would like to think I am doing enough. But am I really? Have we stopped by a single parents home and asked her or him, if you could take their kids out to give them a break for a while, or mow their lawn, ot cook them a meal. Have you just called them out of the blue and asked them how their day is going? They deserve our love and attention.
Love thy neighbor is what Jesus commanded and these brave men and women deserve nothing but the best. Spouses as well as the deployed soldiers. They must endure new surroundings without their mates. They must take care of the home and the children alone. Church it is time to wake up.


I know I am not doing enough and it is time. If we as children of the Risen God do not step up to the plate, who will? Some hideous cult? Some off the wall organization only pretending to Christian? I say No way! I say it is time to show our soldiers how much we love them and appreciate their sacrifice. I am proud to say that their are men and women at my church who are currently serving in Iraq right now. And recently they were told that theirr spouses would have to spend a few more months in Iraq, only days before their expected return. I know my heart ached for them. I observed wives who were so emotionally overwhelmed they just broke down sobbing. The whole community was overcome with emotion as well. The town was so excited to see the soldiers here return, that the news they were to stay in the sand box for more months. even after several hundred soldiers had already returned was like being punched in the gut.



But, something very amazing happened in just a short 24 hours. Wives and Husbands had be given moments to talk to their deployed soldiers and were able to masticate on the news they had been given and they were like different people. Their spirits were glowing. They realized that this is what being a military spouse was all about. They realized their country needed the best trained people over there to get the job done and these spouses were damn proud of their soldiers. You know what? So are we. We will keep them in our prayers and in our hearts.

How About Some Grace for Mel?

I got to say it, I was not going to say anything, but I cannot remain silent any longer. Let anyone of the Hollywood elite say something. I dare anyone of them. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. These Hollywood elitists better keep their drug infested mouths shut. I am not excusing what Mr. Gibson did or said, but I am saying that he deserves some grace. We all make mistakes. Ted Kennedy drove drunk and killed a woman. Where is the mob demanding that this Democratic slime ball of a Senator be arrested?

Mr. Gibson has accepted his crime, and has acknowledged and apologized for his remarks. He is not making excuses. He is accepting responsibility for his DUI. That is lot more than the freaks in Hollywood will ever admit too. ZaZa Gabor slaps a Beverly Hills cop and people like Barbara Walters thinks it's funny. Now these decrepit old woman is slamming Mel Gibson. I never heard her complain when she got the big bucks for interviewing Mr. Gibson. I applaud Mel for not shrinking away from the problem. He admitted he was wrong and the world should accept his apology. By the way I also believe the world should accept Israel's apology for bombing 50 Lebanese civilians. I think the Jewish community can show a little grace to Mel Gibson and accept his apology. I am not saying they have to, but a little understanding can go a long way. Mr. Gibson is not trying to hide behind his celebrity like some media types are ignorantly reporting. Some are saying here goes Mr. Gibson again. His movie the Passion of The Christ upset those in the Jewish community because they thought the movie was anti-Semitic and here goes Mel with his drunken anti-Semitic remarks. Mr. Gibson admitted he made the remarks, apologized for them, and now he is in treatment for alcoholism. I also say Mr. Gibson's critics were looking for any excuse to slam him. The Hollywood muckie mucks love to sling mud while they themselves are wallowing in the same mud hold. Anyone who says they will not work with Mr. Gibson, America should take note. They should respond by boycotting their movies.

Mr. Gibson I thank you for being a real man. I thank you for not shrinking behind your celebrity like so many lesser actors in Hollywood today would do. Lindsey Lohan are you listening? The women on The View should take heed, no one cares what you say or what you think.

UN Says They Are Outraged at Israeli Attacks?

Here is the latest garbage coming from these morons running the UN. They are condemning the recent attacks on Lebanon. In an unfortunate accident, supposed innocent Lebanonese civillians were killed in a missle attack. Here are some facts the press failed to report in the news today: First of all Isarael had been dropping leaflets in this Hezbola infested neghborhood. Second, Hezbola probably made those victims stay in that building. Hezbola has been attacking Israeli civillians, I didn't hear any condeming of Hezbola. The ambassador to the UN from Lebanon practically admitted that there is no distinction between Lebanon and Hezbolla. So, why are we caring about these victims? If Kafi Anana and the other UN clowns really wanted peace in the region, they would enforce the UN Agreement that was already in place. This agreement called for the disarming of Hezbola. Hey Kafi, these assassins are firing missles into Israel. Do you care sir? Why are you more outraged of the Lebonese people that were killed today, that all the Israelies that have been killed for years by the PLO, Hamas and Hezbolla? I heard the Israeli ambassador say today that Israel regrets the lives that were lost this morning. Israel had been targeting Hezbolah missle target, essentialy military targets. The cowards in Hezbolah have been targeting civillians. The UN is strangely silent in this regard. I am getting tired of hearing from Kafi Annan and the other Hezbolah supporters. There is not one country in the world that would sit still when one of their neighbors were to start firing missles into their cities. Not one. So, why are we so quick to try and stop Israel. When these morons speak against Israel I just wished they lived in Israel. They would quickly sing a new song. I am a big supporter of Condi Rice, so please forgive my next statement. Ms. Rice you need to get yourself on the next plane out of the region and let Israel do what it has to. There is no need for her to be there. Israel is doing what she has to defend herself from this murdering horde. I honestly believe that this terrorist group is responsible for staging this accident today. These killers must be eliminated and driven from the region. Hezbollah needs to be eradicated from the planet. The inmates are running the assylum in Lebanon. The PLO is a bunch of pork eating assassins. My prayers and support is to Israel and the Israeli people. The murderer in Hamas and Hezbollah and the entire middle east for that matter, need to stop blowing things and people up. Put down the missles and the AK's and the IED's. There needs to be an end to the bloodshed and it starts with the terrorists. You want to see things blown up? Do you really think we will forget 9/11? The world may have, our allies may have, the Democrats may have, but we the few and the proud have not. We are not ashamed to say we believe in Jesus Christ. We are not ashamed to say that Saddam Insane had to go. We are not ashamed to say that Israel is right and the UN is wrong. You can condemn Israel until you are blue in the face and you still won't be right. Hezbollah will be stopped. I pray that Israel will stay the course. I pray that these idiots who are firing the missles will get what they deserve, a one way ticket to hell. Then they can ask their Allah to free them until thier voices give out. If the Lebaonese really and truely want peace, if the world and the middle east really and truely want peace, they would support Israel and push these sadistic murderers into the sea. No more whining about prisoners in Abu Ghraib when these punks are beheading innocent people. No more caring about weather Hussein goes on a hunger strike. We let Terry Schaivo die and we let this pig live? Give me a break. Shove Dorrittos down his throat and tell him to shut up! No more horrors stories about the rights of prisoners in Cuba until someone can explain why 4 American soldiers were allowed to be strung up on a bridge like so much meat? Our boys are getting shot up and blown up and we're supposed to give a hoot when some terrorists claim that these brave men killed someone who was shooting at them no less. I am sorry folks, but the Bill Clinton era of twisting a lie into truth are long gone. Bill Clinton and all his cronies are responsible for this mess. Their pacifist way of dealing with these cold blooded killers, allowed them time to plan and carry out their evil plans of destruction. The time for diplomacy is over. President Bush declared a war on terror and it is time for it to be carried out to the end.
