Remembering September 11th, 2001

As we draw closer to the 5th anniversary of a day that will live forever in the minds of many Americans, I am struck by an odd fact. To me it seems as if our media and the Democratic Liberal left have erased this memory from their tree hugging data banks. I listened to some replays of spouses and family members of those brave souls on United Flight 93, as they recounted their memories of conversations of with their loved ones on the plane. I was brought to tears as one women explained that she was actually talking her son on the planed and the calmness she had when she told her son about the other planes that had crashed into the twin towers and The Pentagon and accepted the fact that she displayed to encourage her son when he told her that they were going to take over the plane.

These men and women on that fateful plane were willing to die for what they believe in. It is a damn shame of the youth of this country when they can sit idly by while others are willing to defend freedom in Iraq. These liberal youths are wasting their lives listening to their IPODS and watching MTV for what? They pierce and tattoo their God given bodies for what? To show how tough they are? What a joke? The men and women on that plane showed what a true American is all about. They sacrificed their lives so that others could be spared. Sadly the American youth of today have misplaced their spines. Fear Factor my eye my brothers. The yellow of that show has rubbed off. Some folks, have said that the President should bring back the draft. I agree. Some close friends have said "Not with my sons!" To them I would respond, to sit idly by and do nothing is to allow these Islamic fascists win. The Bible says "because you were neither hot nor cold, I spewed you from my mouth." Some people have asked me if I would send my child into Iraq. I have given this serious prayerful thought and I have come to the conclusion that I will and would say Yes. I would not want to see my child run like cowards to Canada, like those duringg the Vietnam War.

I apologize for rambling folks. My heart grieved terribly after those freaks struck the towers, and even today I still grieve. I cannot forget what happened, and I hope that others who continually attack President Bush and the War effort seem to have forgotten. These Islamic fanatics will stop at nothing to wipe us off the map. They will stop at nothing to force their insane religion down the throats of the entire world. I say it is time to wipe these guys off the face of this planet.

Some may forgotten September 11th, 2001, but I will never.
